PowerShield® is developed as a lightweight alternative for the protection of high voltage cables.
PowerShield® Rolls
PowerShield® HV Cable protection rolls are lightweight rolls, for protection of High Voltage Cables. The roll dimensions can be tailor-made for both width (upto 2.00 m) and length (upto 250 m) for ease of installation.

FAQ’s
Does PowerShield® comply with DIN50520 and does it meet the TenneT requirements?
PowerShield® is developped for complying with DIN50520. As PowerShield® consists of multiple layers, it was possible to choose the amount of layers for meeting the TenneT requirement (maximum penetration of 50 mm).
How is it possible that such a lightweight and thin product meets the requirements?
PowerShield® is developped combining the technolgies for composites and technical textiles. This patented technology has resulted in this unique product.
Is it easy to install PowerShield®?
PowerShield® can be supplied in different roll dimensions, with a maximum width of 2.00 m and a maximum roll lenght of 250 m. For long rolls (f.e. 1.0 m width and 100 m. length) special installation equipment will be required, as the rolls will be too heavy for manual installation (1×100 m roll = 150 kg). It is also possible to produce smaller rolls, which can be installed manually. A roll of 1×10 m. will have a weight of 15 kg., a roll of 1×5 m. will weigh only 7.5 kg.
